About our center

The Tres Cantos dental clinic is located in this same municipality north of Madrid. Our centre is qualified in treating children and we have a large team of Paediatric Dentists and Orthodontists with extensive experience in providing dental care for the youngest members of the family.

On the one hand, we offer all kinds of dental treatments focused on preventing and correcting the main dental problems affecting children, such as cavities, pulpectomies, fluoride treatments, sealants, etc.

On the other hand, we provide the main orthodontic treatments for children aimed at preventing and correcting many irregularities affecting the jaw bones and teeth: palate expanders, metal braces, clear aligners, aesthetic braces, etc.
Moonz dental clinic Tres Cantos is equipped with state-of-the-art technology: panoramic x-ray, intraoral scanner, sedation, etc.

The centre opened its doors in 2021, meaning all its installations are new. They are characterised for having a fun decoration that appeals to children, helping improve their wellbeing and to perceive going to the dentist as a fun activity. Also, the clinic’s offices are very well illuminated with natural light.
Our Tres Cantos dental clinic can be reached by private as well as public transport. If you come by car, parking is readily available nearby and for free. If public transport is preferred, you can arrive by bus (lines L2, L5, 712, 713 and 716). Lastly, the clinic can be easily accessed by people with limited mobility.

Your child is always attended by the same professional. Additionally, they don’t wear a dentist’s outfit; instead, they wear a uniform that any child would like to have. Once in the treatment room with your child, they will use various play techniques to increase fun and reduce fear.

My name is María de Miguel Álvarez. I am a dentist with a degree from the San Pablo CEU University. Since I finished my degree, it was very clear to me that I wanted to qualify as an orthodontist, so I took the postgraduate course in Advanced Multidisciplinary Orthodontics at the San Pablo CEU University.

While I was doing my master's degree, I worked as a general dentist and I had the opportunity to closely follow the treatment of children patients. The Moonz Children's Orthodontic Clinic offered me the opportunity to focus on orthodontics for children and to see my patients grow. The best thing about orthodontics is being able to see the evolution of my patients and seeing them leave with a perfect smile.

Working at Moonz has given me the opportunity to continue to develop my professional career and never stop learning in a family atmosphere. We work in a fun and quality environment, where patients always feel at home and look forward to coming back to visit us. I hope you will come and visit us!

In Moonz, we specialize in pediatric dental care. That’s why we carry out treatments to prevent and address common oral health issues in children, such as cavities, tooth misalignment, and trauma.

Interceptive orthodontics and orthopaedics

We provide orthopaedic and interceptive treatments aimed at children between the ages of 6 and 9. Thus, we easily correct improper habits and malformations of the bones, which can only be corrected with surgery as an adult.

First visit to the Orthodontist

The Spanish Orthodontic Society recommends the first orthodontic evaluation be conducted at age 6. Thus, the Orthodontist can detect malocclusions or incorrect oral habits that are easier to correct at an early age.

Child orthodontics

Orthodontics in two phases

To achieve a healthy, functional and aesthetic result in the long term, orthodontic treatments must be approached in two phases. In the first phase, we guide and correct bone growth. In the second, we improve the position of the teeth.

Paediatric dentistry

We carry out all types of procedures aimed at maintaining the health and condition of baby as well as permanent teeth: fillings, fluoride treatments, sealants, pulpectomies.

Clear aligners for kids

This treatment has become very popular in recent years. Instead of braces, clear and removable aligners are used. Therefore, this is a more comfortable and cleaner orthodontic system than any other system based on braces.

Orthodontics

We provide orthodontic treatments aimed at children between the ages of 6 and 12. One or another treatment is selected depending on the patient’s age, the type of malocclusion or degree of severity.

Braces for kids

Braces are the orthodontic system most often used for children who already have all their permanent teeth. In other words, their baby teeth have fallen out and their permanent teeth have fully emerged. Normally braces are fitted at age 11 or 12.
