About our center

Moonz dental clinic Arturo Soria is located in a residential area in the north part of Madrid, near the Arturo Soria Plaza shopping centre. Our clinic is qualified in treating children and we have a large team of Paediatric Dentists and Orthodontists with extensive experience in providing dental care for the youngest members of the family.

On the one hand, we offer all kinds of dental treatments aimed at preventing and correcting the main dental problems affecting children, such as cavities, pulpectomies, fluoride treatments, sealants, etc.

On the other hand, we provide the main orthodontic treatments for children aimed at preventing and correcting many irregularities affecting the jaw bones and teeth: palate expanders, metal braces, clear aligners, aesthetic braces, etc.

Moonz dental clinic Arturo Soria is equipped with state-of-the-art technology: panoramic x-ray, intraoral scanner, sedation, etc.
The centre opened its doors in 2021, meaning all its installations are new. They are characterised for having a fun decoration that appeals to children, helping improve their wellbeing and to perceive going to the dentist as a fun activity.

Our Arturo Soria dental clinic can be reached by private as well as public transport. If public transport is chosen, you can jump on the Metro (Arturo Soria station, line 4) or bus (lines 11, 70 and 122).

Your child is always attended by the same professional. Additionally, they don’t wear a dentist’s outfit; instead, they wear a uniform that any child would like to have. Once in the treatment room with your child, they will use various play techniques to increase fun and reduce fear.

Orthodontics en Moonz

I am Carolina Galán Soria and I am an orthodontist and I work in the orthodontic clinic for children Arturo Soria. I studied Dentistry at the Complutense University of Madrid. After working as a General Dentist for a year I started working at Moonz in La Moraleja.

I have always loved the qualification of orthodontics, but when I started at Moonz it became clear to me that I wanted to dedicate my whole life to children orthodontics, so I did a master’s degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the Catholic University of San Antonio in Murcia.

The most beautiful thing about orthodontics is being able to see the evolution of patients and how they end up with a perfect smile. Being an orthodontist at Moonz is for me a dream and a professional challenge, in which I will not cease to continue to prosper with the advances that my profession demands. I have 3 years of experience at Moonz and I am increasingly passionate about my profession, in addition to being able to offer great quality and confidence in their treatments to patients

Hello everyone! My name is Belén Moreno, treatment coordinator at Moonz Arturo Soria. I studied odontology at CEU San Pablo University, and during my time at university I found out I am really passionate about orthodontics and children. At Moonz, I have the chance to know orthodontics in a deeper way and analyze them every day along with you. Especially when it happens at such a cool clinic!

My path in this great family has just begun, which makes me feel the joy of living all the experiences which it provides me with. Every day is a new project, a new adventure, a new joy which brings me new knowledge, filling me with the passion to… create smiles!

In Moonz, we specialize in pediatric dental care. That’s why we carry out treatments to prevent and address common oral health issues in children, such as cavities, tooth misalignment, and trauma.

Interceptive orthodontics and orthopaedics

We provide orthopaedic and interceptive treatments aimed at children between the ages of 6 and 9. Thus, we easily correct improper habits and malformations of the bones, which can only be corrected with surgery as an adult.

First visit to the Orthodontist

The Spanish Orthodontic Society recommends the first orthodontic evaluation be conducted at age 6. Thus, the Orthodontist can detect malocclusions or incorrect oral habits that are easier to correct at an early age.

Child orthodontics

Orthodontics in two phases

To achieve a healthy, functional and aesthetic result in the long term, orthodontic treatments must be approached in two phases. In the first phase, we guide and correct bone growth. In the second, we improve the position of the teeth.

Paediatric dentistry

We carry out all types of procedures aimed at maintaining the health and condition of baby as well as permanent teeth: fillings, fluoride treatments, sealants, pulpectomies.

Clear aligners for kids

This treatment has become very popular in recent years. Instead of braces, clear and removable aligners are used. Therefore, this is a more comfortable and cleaner orthodontic system than any other system based on braces.

Orthodontics

We provide orthodontic treatments aimed at children between the ages of 6 and 12. One or another treatment is selected depending on the patient’s age, the type of malocclusion or degree of severity.

Braces for kids

Braces are the orthodontic system most often used for children who already have all their permanent teeth. In other words, their baby teeth have fallen out and their permanent teeth have fully emerged. Normally braces are fitted at age 11 or 12.
